How Do I Transfer Music from my PC to my PSP

How do I transfer music from my pc to my psp?

PSPs are very popular but not just for playing games. They are great for watching movies and listening to music. To play a game or watch a movie on your psp all you have to do is put the disc in. But in order to listen to music you want to download it from the internet or get a music file off your computer.

The big question a lot of people with psps are asking is "How do I transfer music from my pc to my psp?"

To transfer music from my pc to my psp all I have to do is plug my psp into my computer using a usb cord. Make sure your psp is on usb mode. The psp will show up as an extra removable drive under 'my computer' or 'computer' under the start menu; depending on which operating system you use.

Click on the PSP drive letter to see if it has any folders. If PSP folder is present, double click on it and you should see a MUSIC folder.

If you cannot see any folders create a folder called PSP. Do this by right clicking on your mouse, going to new and then to folder. Double click on PSP folder and create a Music folder in the PSP folder.

To transfer my music from my pc to my psp I drag and drop the music from my music files into the Music folder located in my psp folder. You can either drag and drop the music files from your computer into the Music folder or you can copy and paste the music files to MUSIC folder on your PSP.

The music should show up on your psp under the music folder. Congradulations, you just learned to transfer music from pc to psp.

Not all music files are supported by the psp. MP3 and MP4 files are the most common supported. Others that may be supported are wav and wam. I suggest sticking to mp3 files if you can that way you know it will be supported by the psp.

Hopefully this helps everyone who asks the question "How do I transfer music from my pc to my psp?"
